I am
The Simplicity of Self Abidance
A man asks if self-abidance is a relaxation of attention. From the weekend in Amsterdam, September 2018.
Ask yourself:
"What knows, or is aware of my experience?"
"Am I aware?"
"In Him was life, and that life was the light of men."
"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me."
"But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added unto you. 32Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom."
"He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters."
"Stop fighting," he says, "and know that I am God, supreme among the nations, supreme over the world."
"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
"But their minds were closed. For to this day the same veil remains at the reading of the old covenant. It has not been lifted, because only in Christ can it be removed."
"From the rest he makes a god, his graven image. He bows down to it and worships; he prays to it and says, 'Save me, for you are my god.' 18They cannot comprehend or understand, for He has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and closed their minds so they cannot understand."
